Art has been a significant part of my life from an early age, nurtured by my mother, a landscape artist who encouraged my passion for drawing and painting. After completing school, I pursued Fashion and Clothing Design at Wellington Polytechnic (now Massey University), but my desire to travel and live abroad led me in new directions.
My travels sparked a deeper awareness of the world around me, yet it wasn’t until I returned to New Zealand that I truly began to explore my creative potential. When my children started school, I enrolled part-time at The Learning Connexion in Island Bay, Wellington, where I had the opportunity to experiment with a variety of mediums. It was here that my skills flourished and my confidence as an artist grew. I live in the seaside suburb of Seatoun in Wellington, New Zealand.
